You are in the digital whistleblower system of the Private University UMIT TIROL - Private Universität für Gesundheitswissenschaften und -technologie GmbH (herafter briefly: UMIT TIROL). This system was developed on the basis of EU Whistleblowing Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/1937) in conjunction with the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act (Federal Law Gazette I No. 6/2023).
Through this system, UMIT TIROL offers whistleblowers the opportunity to digitally report, via text or voice message

b) by disclosing their own person
information on (possible) legal violations (hereinafter referred to as 'report') to the internal reporting office. The follwoing persons are responsible for the internal reporting office: UMIT TIROL data protection officer together with the law offices of GPK Pegger Kofler & Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH & Co KG, RA Mag. Fabian Bösch, B.A. All information reported via this system is encrypted end-to-end and adjusted to ensure that it is not traceable: For this purpose, double punctuation is removed and all words are written in lower case.

- If you wish to submit a report anonymously, please make sure that you are not in the UMIT TIROL company network (in particular: VPN). This platform is not operated on UMIT TIROL systems, but by an external service provider based within the EU/EEA. An data processing contract within the meaning of Art 28 GDPR has been concluded with the external service provider.
- Do not use any hardware (smartphone, computer, notebook, etc.) owned by UMIT TIROL to submit the notice.
- Do not use any expressions or abbreviations in your notices that you (only) use frequently.
